Planet Nana Movement is an artist collective from Lukhanji Municipality, based Ezibeleni, Queenstown. The movement was formed in February 2011 and for now has 10 members, consisting of Rappers, Vocalist, Poets, Songwriters, music and Film producers, graphic Designers. 

The Collective prides themselves in their songwriting skills, quality of production, informed artists, composing good music and confident young individuals. In 2013 the Movement offers its Second Mixtape, Planet Nana Mixtape Vol2 ‘UBULINDELENI EZIBELENI which was launched on April 6, 2013. 

THE GOAL: 

The aim of establishing an artist collective of this nature, is too, bring together the talent of working artists inside one umbrella. This gives each artist the opportunity to work with other musicians, who have similar goals pertaining to a career in the Arts. The movement exposes artists to different working styles and gives them a feel - understanding - of a work place environment. 
An environment in which deadlines have to be met, meetings are held, time management and execution in decision making of strategic plans, therefore empowering and growing the artist.

In the movement we work on developing the artist on a personal level including artist management and maximizing the ‘how to think’ and not the ‘what to think?’ philosophy.

An artist can be creative and exercise discipline at same time, our bottom line, great people producing great music. “Born To Make It, Born To Fly”
